Argentina

Ghana
Ghana is one of West Africa's most colourful destinations, and also it's safest. Takoradi is off the beaten track, close to beaches, rainforest and offers some excellent placements in regional Government hospitals, particularly for those interested in A&E and outreach programmes.
Arusha
Arusha is the gateway to some of the best safaris in Northern Tanzania as well as a base for treks to Kilimanjaro. It’s a real travel hub and there is always something going on to fill up your free time. It also offers excellent opportunities to witness how Tanzania copes with the high percentage of infectious diseases, with placements in a Government run regional hospitals and smaller clinical settings.
Lake Victoria
Set on the beautiful shores of Lake Victoria, Mwanza takes you away from the crowds and offers the opportunity to work in one of the highest referral hospitals in the country. It is far better equipped than the Government run hospitals and offers you a better chance of specialising in clinical areas. It’s also the perfect spot to get involved in local culture, island hop and head off on safari.
Dar es Salaam & Zanzibar
Laze on the white sand beaches of Zanzibar or drive out to the Southern safari parks. Dar-es-Salaam and Zanzibar offer the perfect combination of relaxed island living with the chance to work in the biggest tertiary referral hospital in the country.
India
Experience the hustle and bustle of Southern India in Trivandrum, capital of Kerala. The class system gives you a great opportunity to work in a huge variety of healthcare programmes and specialist areas, as well as offering an insight into medical tourism. Trivandrum is also the perfect base to explore the back waters and beaches Kerala is famous for.
Nepal
Sitting in the awe-inspiring shadow of some of the largest mountains in the world and rich with culture and stunning architecture, Nepal is also home to endangered tigers, white rhinos and you – if you choose to take your placement in this colourful country.
Sri Lanka
