While on your placement in Arequipa, you'll see a range of ailments specific to Peru's social and environmental conditions. From dermatological cases caused by the city's high altitude to injuries caused by domestic violence, expect to have your existing skills and knowledge challenged. Having a number of specialists in our partner hospital means there'll always be some expert from whom you can draw knowledge. Arequipa is also a great spot for adventures.
