In Iloilo, families are responsible for washing and feeding patients, leaving you to undertake more crucial tasks. A favourite with previous students has been working in the animal bites clinic, where you'll have the chance to witness the treatment of rabies, one of many unfamiliar diseases you'll encounter on your nursing elective. After leaving work for the day, why not experience being 'cooked alive’ in a Kawa hot bath, or maybe even go whale watching off the coast of Cebu. Read what our students think below!
