‘Know Before You Go’ is an ongoing travel safety campaign run by the Foreign & Commonwealth Office to encourage British nationals to be better prepared for their overseas trips.
The campaign aims to increase awareness with a view to avoiding common travelling traumas, risks and dangers.

The Medical Protection Society
The Medical Protection Society is the leading provider of comprehensive professional indemnity and expert advice to doctors, dentists and health professionals around the world.
The MPS is a mutual, not-for-profit medical defence organisation, offering more than 260,000 members help with legal and ethical problems that arise from their professional practice. This includes clinical negligence claims, complaints, medical council inquiries, legal and ethical dilemmas, disciplinary procedures, inquests and fatal accident inquiries.
The MPS actively protects and promotes the interests of members and the wider profession. Equally, they believe that patients who have suffered harm from negligent treatment should receive fair compensation.
Student membership is FREE and provides access to worldwide elective indemnity protection.
